Alex Elias In February, Brandon Wu joined AE Golf News ahead of the 2021 Korn Ferry Tour season, concluding the interview by saying, "It's good to set goals to have a direction that you want to go towards, but I definitely try to just focus a shot at a time, a day at a time, a tournament at a time. Obviously, the biggest goal is to finish in the Top-25 and get the PGA Tour card."
Now, six months later, Wu has achieved that goal, finishing 13th in the Korn Ferry Tour Regular Season Points List. Detailing the grind, Wu said, "It’s difficult because everyone’s goal is to play on the PGA Tour, and you’re so close yet so far. It’s cutthroat because it’s so competitive, everyone is really hungry out there and everyone is really good. Combined with courses that you can score on, there’s very little separation. It’s an absolute grind playing all these weeks in a row, and you’re always a few good weeks from getting a Tour card, but potentially a rough patch away from Q-School." Looking ahead to next year, Wu said, "I’m very excited to compete against the worlds best week to week! I just want to continue to get better, that’s my #1 goal. I know if I can do that, the results will be where I want them and I will have a good time out there."
